Self-clamping high temperature extensometer

Functional uses:
面料: For high temperature furnaces and induction heating systems, Epson's unique self-clamping design is available to provide options suitable for a variety of test requirements.It is suitable for measuring the deformation of metals, ceramics and composites at high temperatures generated by high-temperature furnaces and induction heating systems. It is more convenient to use and has better performance than other high temperature extensometers.Fix the extensometer on the specimen with a very light flexible ceramic fiber thread. In this way, the extensometer clamps itself on the sample. No furnace mounting bracket is required. This type of extensometer is easy to install for most high temperature furnaces with side openings. For induction heating systems, the different placement of ceramic wires allows the extensometer to easily pass through the induction coil.The radiant heat shield and convective cooling fins allow the extensometer to be used in environments where the sample temperature reaches 1200 ° C without cooling. The optional small fan can improve the stability of the extensometer at the highest temperature, so it is recommended to use it when high accuracy and small elongation tests are required. The fan has a magnetic base that can be conveniently located near the extensometer. Induction heating systems do not require fan cooling.Use high-purity alumina (minimum 99.7%) ceramic rods. The appropriate length can be selected according to the requirements of the high temperature furnace. Tension, compression and cyclic testing (low cycle fatigue) strain measurement can be done with an extensometer.For vacuum furnaces, water-cooled extensometers are available. Radiative heat transfer cooled extensometers are also available. This requires the extensometer module to be covered by a sink, leaving a gap in the ceramic rod in front of the sink.
